A NOTE FROM ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL CORONA

Chapman Families,

We are so glad you all could make it to the Multicultural Night! It was a lot of fun to spend time enjoying a variety of food together and most importantly hearing all the students sing along to the songs Mr. Clark has been preparing with them. We saw many families and children excited to be part of the celebration with the Chapman community. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event possible! Families got their children ready, staff was here on their own time helping with performances and serving food as well as parent volunteers who jumped in and supported the event. Nice singing everyone!

Next week we are celebrating the good work that has been happening this third quarter of the school year with Spirit Week (see calendar below). We know these celebrations can be very exciting, but please remind the children to keep kindness and respect for one another when sharing our spirit dress-up.

We are looking for parent participants in our Climate Team. The school Climate Team not only plans and provides positive celebrations at school but also reviews school-wide expectations, culture, and discipline policies. If you would like to share your voice, you can join us at PTA meetings, and Principal coffees or come to our monthly Climate meetings. Our next one is on 4/13 at 2:30. You can also just email me at gcorona@pps.net

Lastly, we hope you all have a restful spring break next week and that you are able to get a bit of relaxation with your family and friends. We will be ready to continue learning as we spring ahead into the last stretch of the school year when you come back.

As always, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
