PPS District Calendar 2023-2024 School Year

What a wonderful week we’ve had so far returning to school! Chapman feels like school again because our students, teachers, and staff fill the hallways with smiles, laughter and friendliness each school day! While there are a few logistical things still being worked out--makeup conference days, rescheduling Literacy Night, etc--what we do know is that our flock soars higher when we soar together. 

I want to give a special thank you to all of the members of our flock who supported the community at this time. From those of you who helped with Thanksgiving food boxes for our families to those who brought donuts over for teachers. You all lifted our spirits and I thank you. While the building was (mostly) empty, some of our EAs decorated the halls in anticipation of everyone coming back together. One of my favorites is below and I think you can see why.

The next PTA Meeting is Dec. 6th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Chapman Library.

CHAPMAN PARENT PORTAL

The Chapman Community  - parents, students, neighbors and businesses - showed up in a big way for our teachers and staff during the strike, and they would like to share a small token of appreciation. Please see their personal notes on this Kudoboard.

We are currently taking donations to provide Winter Break grocery gift cards for Chapman families in need. You can donate here.

We also need shopping help for Winter Break food baskets. You can sign up to be a shopper here. 

If your student is missing an item, it might be in this picture. Chapman's Lost & Found is getting full. Please stop by to see if you can help return a coat, hat, glove, water bottle, sweatshirt to its owner.
