WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK!

Dear Chapman Families,

There is an important annual PPS survey, the Successful Schools Survey, that we are asking you to complete. The feedback in this survey plays a critical role in decision-making about the future direction of Chapman and the District.

I remember how busy I was when my children were young and often skipped surveys. However, this survey really is the "one" we all need to complete. The survey is available in multiple languages.

Public school leadership has a responsibility to base decisions around identified student and family needs and other feedback from this survey. Your responses are confidential and there will be District transparency about the survey's collective feedback and implications.

We will also be asking students in grades 3-5 to take the survey in their class. Please email me if you do not want your child to take this survey at:  stblack@pps.net

DEADLINE:                              TODAY!

Warmly,

Steffany Black

Chapman School Counselor

PREPPING TO DONATE

The Lost & Found, while smaller than before the Thanksgiving break, is still unruly. Every year we plan two donation days, and the first round is coming up. If you happen to be at the school, take a moment to look for your student's missing items. Anything left in the Lost & Found on Dec. 13th will be donated to a local charity organization.

And please remember to put your student's names in jackets and sweatshirts. We do our best to return what we can prior to donating.

WINTER FOOD ASSISTANCE

Through PTA funding and donations, food bags including non-perishable food items will be available for families in need. Families can sign up for pickup/delivery of bags on December 18-19.

Families need to complete this Winter 2024 Food Assistance form.

If a family has already requested Winter food assistance when completing the Fall Assistance form, they do not need to complete the winter form.
