Hello Chapman Families!
This week we celebrated the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In our Round Up last Friday, I talked about how Dr. King embodied all of our Chapman Values around compassion, collaboration, inquisitiveness and integrity. Students and teachers then talked in their classes about service projects that they could perform to honor Dr. King’s legacy. We have students who are cleaning up around our school and writing notes to seniors, among other projects. Performing acts of service to the community is such a great way to honor someone who worked hard and devoted his life to making our whole country a better place.
Chapman is in the process of reviewing our safety plan in the event that federal agents are in the area. If you are in the neighborhood and are aware of any potential issues, we ask that you inform our office right away. We are committed to ensuring all of our students feel safe and supported at school.
