Lunch & Recess

Lunch & Recess is an easy and fun place to volunteer! Check-in at the office and bring a photo ID for your first shift so that you can get in the system. Then, the check-in computer will print a badge for you. Once you're checked-in, grab a safety vest from the office closet and head to the cafeteria or outside.

General tasks are table clean-up during transitions, sweep up food that drops to the floor, and help out / answer any questions from kids. For recess you help with safety by the slide or cover the turf area. 

Lunch times are:

Kinder, 10:50 - 11:15

2nd, 11:00 - 11:20

1st, 11:25 - 11:45

3rd, 11:35 - 11:55

4th, 11:55 - 12:15

5th, 12:05 - 12:25

Recess Times are:

Kinder, 10:30 - 10:50

2nd, 10:40 - 11:00

1st, 11:05 - :11:25

3rd, 11:15 - 11:35

4th, 11:35 - 11:55

5th, 11:45 - 12:05

Shelving & organizing in the library with Ms. Melissa Juska! Volunteers who can work regular shifts would be preferred, but drop-ins/one-offs would be okay. Volunteers don't need to sign up for the whole time frame - a shorter span within the available times is fine. One volunteer per shift would be enough. Please ensure PPS background check is complete and check-in at Chapman main office.
